Land rents are rising too quickly, according to members of the business
community who met in Ha Noi at a conference entitled "Property Rights
and Enterprise Development".
Shopkeepers are turning away from shopping malls across the country
because their rents are too high and there are not enough customers to
generate sufficient revenues.
